I love this view of Mas-Cabardès. If you climb the path alongside the small gardens to your right and the mountainside to your left, you’ll find a perch with a view of all the elements of the typical village in this region: abundant water, stone houses, a church, well-kept gardens, and often, ruins of a castle on a promontory. Often there will be a cross, and sometimes there will be some statuary at its foot.
